Appointments

To make an appointment please call 01322 862110 - on the day appointments are released at 8am Mon - Fri

The doctors see their patients by appointment. To make an appointment, please telephone or call in person during reception opening times. Patients needing an urgent appointment should telephone as early as possible and we will endeavour to fit them in. Sometimes the doctor may be running late. We will inform you on your arrival if this is the case, but please remember, if one patient needs a long time, next time it could be you.

Each appointment is for 10 minutes only.  If you are running late, your appointment and therefore your time with the doctor may be cut short. In extreme cases of lateness, and for repeat offenders, you will be asked to re-book for another day.

Commuter / Extended Opening Service

We have a doctor, practice nurse and HCA available, by appointment only, on Monday and Wednesday evenings from 17:00 - 19.20.  These sessions are very popular and are primarily for those patients who are unable to get to the surgery during core hours.  Although the surgery is open, telephone calls to the surgery are diverted to the out-of-hours doctor during these hours. To cancel an appointment during this time, please email the reception staff at reception.farningham@nhs.net.

Practice Nurses

In a number of cases it might be worth considering an appointment with a practice nurse rather than a doctor. Practice nurses are qualified to deal with many ailments and you may be seen more quickly.

Cancellations

If you cannot attend an appointment for any reason please inform us as soon as possible in order for us to give the slot to someone else.
